When a real estate agent suggests adding a home warranty at closing, there are few things more comforting than knowing they use that same service for their own home. This is the case of Agent Cindy Horsley of the Bush Real Estate Group in Newnan, Georgia, who has strong opinions of which home warranty company she’ll recommend to her clients.
“America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) is the way to go,” Cindy said. “You get to choose your own contractor, and they make filing a claim a really simple process.”
Cindy navigated that process herself when her heat pump went out. “I had no problem getting to someone, and they explained the whole process and told me exactly what I needed to do. It was great!” she said. Afterward, she hired a local HVAC contractor to assess the issue. “He called in and did his thing, and everybody got paid. It was just that simple,” Cindy said.
Cindy’s clients have experienced APHW’s easy claim process as well. “One couple had been in their house maybe eight months and their A/C went out. They already had a home inspection where everything was fine, so I told her what to do, and she never had to call me back—they were well-taken care of.”
Knowing APHW takes care of her clients is the biggest reason behind Cindy’s recommendation. “I’ve been selling real estate for about 13 years. With this one I know how simple it is, and as long as you follow the process, you’re good to go,” she said.
