The high temperature reached 91 degrees on the Sunday John Eblen called to file a claim on his upstairs air conditioner, which had gone out in a literal puff of smoke. America’s Preferred Home Warranty (APHW) answered the call of the Charlestown, Indiana native.
“The claim process worked exactly like it was supposed to,” John said. “HVAC was one of the items listed as covered. It was as advertised, right there in the paperwork.”
John contacted a local contractor and set up an appointment for them to come out the very next day. “Once the contractor got on site to evaluate what was wrong, we called APHW. The contractor spoke to one of the reps, explained was the issue was and what needed to be fixed, and gave him the estimate.”
John loved how quick and easy the entire process was. “It was all done in the same day—before 1 in the afternoon as a matter of fact,” he said. “The rep literally gave a credit card number to the contractor, who ran it on the spot. Within ten minutes the contractor was fully paid, the work was done, and I was happy.”
The Eblens were so happy with the process and how easy it was, they actually extended their plan. “After going through the process, it seemed almost silly not to continue the coverage,” John said. “Especially for the price APHW is offering it.”
